Eligible laboratory reagents, solvents, staining chemicals, expired chemicals and containers with residue — subject to material and packaging review.

Is a Safety Data Sheet required?+

An SDS is strongly preferred. Without one, additional review may be needed before acceptance.

Can you collect from schools and universities?+

Yes. Educational laboratory chemicals may be reviewed for collection under our Chemical Waste service.

How is chemical waste transported?+

Through suitable transport arrangements and handed over via authorised handover procedures.

Do you accept unlabelled chemicals?+

Unidentified or unlabelled chemicals require additional review and may not be accepted.

Can chemicals be mixed for collection?+

No. Never mix unidentified chemicals or transfer materials into unlabelled containers.

How long does chemical review take?+

Review time depends on the information supplied — clearer product details speed things up.

Do you collect general or household waste?+

No. Safaa Albea does not provide general, household, construction or municipal waste collection.
